I was really excited to round out our fall portrait season with Leah and Greg's engagement session. They brought along their adorable pup Nymeria and we toured the countryside taking photos. It was quite an adventure and we had a blast!
I love finding new places to shoot and this late fall day was no exception. What started off as a cloudy, dreary day ended with a beautiful sunset... scroll down, you'll see. :)
Before our session, Ed and I headed out and scouted some spots I wanted to hit and I was thrilled when Leah told me she was up for a little road trip! We had fun driving down some narrow, windy dirt roads and even ended the evening with a story to share!
We are excited to be shooting their wedding next August at River Stone Manor - one of my favorite venues. Why, you might ask? If you didn't know, about five and a half years ago Ed and I tied the knot ourselves so I love going back there!
For now, I'll leave you with some of our favorites from their fall e-session. Check back next year for their wedding! :)
Perfect little family!
This next spot was my favorite!
I just love the black and white with this image:
Nymeria is so adorable!
Swoon!!!
This next spot was the last one we hit; it was perfect timing with the sun going down.
I have been eyeing this location for months with the hopes of eventually doing a little shooting there. It's a preserve, and apparently a private one, because when we ventured closer to it, we were abrubtly stopped by, well, let's just say a mildly crazy woman, her dog and an erratically driven golf cart. I'll leave the rest of the story to your imagination. :)
Regardless, we got some beautiful images here.
Leah and Greg have a full gallery of their images available through the VIP section of our website. If you want to see it, just ask them. :)
Thanks you two for making the trip out our way for this super fun photo session! Congrats again on your engagement, we can't wait for the wedding!
As always, thanks for visiting our blog. Please take a moment and leave some love and congrats for this amazing couple!
