Ginny and Rob's snowy engagement session was the perfect way to kick off our 2014 year! We had the pleasure of meeting some of their family as well as their awesome dog Ryder. Our afternoon with them was a blast!
Ginny and Rob are tying the knot this fall and we are so excited to be a part of their day! When we first met them (and their super cool moms) on an early fall morning for coffee last year, we knew right away we wanted to share in their day! I was thrilled when Ginny emailed and said they wanted to book with us.
For anyone who is on the fence about doing an engagement session before your wedding day, please make the decision to do so! It's a great way for us all to get to know each. Not just that, but you'll get used to being in front of the camera and we will know better what works for you. Plus, they are lots of fun, and you'll get some really great photos from us. Scroll down this blog for proof. :)
We started off our snowy session with Ginny and Rob at her cousin's house in Deerfield, MA - such a beautiful area! For the second part of our session we headed into historic Deerfield, wow! I could live there! The village itself is known as an outdoor museum - such beauty. Needless to say, we could have spent days there, shooting and just exploring!
So let's get to these photos, I know that's why you're here! :)
Meet Ginny, Rob and their dog Ryder. I love it when couples include their pets in their session!
Ginny and Rob adopted Ryder after he was found as a puppy abandoned in a field. Thanks to you both for opening your home to him!
The perfect amount of snow was falling almost all day. Loved it!
Had to let Ryder have the spotlight for a few minutes...
This next spot was probably my favorite from the whole session.
I love these next two. This is part of why it pays to have two photographers. The first image was captured through my camera and the second one through Ed's. Both great shots of the same moment, but with such different feels to them. Love them both!
Same thing with these next two...
Off to historic Deerfield we go!
One last spot, a suggestion from Ginny's cousin (who is also the MOH and an aspiring photographer). Glad she suggested it, I loved it!
Also love these coats. :)
Ginny and Rob will have a full gallery of their images available through the VIP section of our website soon.
Thanks again Ginny and Rob for spending an afternoon with us! It was a great time, we can't wait for the wedding!
Thanks for visiting our blog!
Oh, and hey, while you're here, why not comment and leave some love for this fabulous couple?!
