Emily and Brandon are finally being featured on our blog!
Holy cow, what a way to end last year's wedding season; these two are just an amazing couple, inside and out! We have really enjoyed getting to know them over the last year and a half, and being a part of their special day was such an honor. These two were very easy going and just so happy, which made our jobs (if you could call it that!) so much easier. We had lots of laughs and the day all around was a blast.
In our first meeting with them, I told Emily and Brandon that if they didn't hire us, I was going to show up at their wedding and take photos anyway. Haha!! Either I scared them into submission or they liked my terrible humor so much they had to hire us!! Either way, we were thrilled to be asked to share in their day and are happy to also call these two friends. :)
If you missed it last year, check out their engagement session, which we shot last winter. It was a chilly day, but lots of fun!
By the time their wedding arrived at the tail end of fall, we were pumped and ready to rock! Mother Nature had no clue what she wanted to do that day. The day started out beautiful and sunny and in an instant switchted to cold and dreary, then back to sunny, then there were snowflakes falling and then the sun came back out just in time for them to celebrate their marriage at the water's edge of the Glen Sanders Mansion. Phew!
Here's a few of the pro's that helped to make their wedding day special:
Bridal Makeup: True Grace Makeup (Jennifer McCarthy Norton)
Bridal Hair: Susan Iannuzzi / Creative Color & Cut
Bridal Gown: Oleg Cassini
Men's Attire: Men's Wearhouse
Floral Arrangements: Joani Isabella Designs
Ceremony Officiant: Judge Charles "Chip" Tailleur
Ceremony & Reception Venue: The Glen Sanders Mansion
Photobooth: Saratoga Photobooth Company
Cake: Mazzone Hospitality
Reception Music: The Piano Man's DJ Productions (Nate Miller)
When we got to the Glen Sanders, Emily and her ladies were just finishing up with some bridal prep. Here are some of our favorite detail shots:
This journal was something Emily wrote for Brandon as part of his groom's gift. So sweet!
This beautiful bonnet was to be used by Emily at the end of the night as part of a traditional Slovak Bridal Dance. The bonnet itself was made by a Slovak woman and purchased by Emily's grandmother. The dance at the end of the night was so fun!
Some wedding gifts from Brandon...
Emily was looking beautiful and not even in her dress yet!
A little help from mom:
Tada! Yep, perfect. :)
Two spectacular reveals:
The moments with Dad were just so special!
Yep, snow!
The snow stopped, the sun came out and it was time to tie the knot!
We did something similar to this one at their engagement session, so fun!! :)
Party time!
OMG, stop being so adorable you two!! :)
A funny little gift from Brandon's brother Tyler...
Emily and Brandon will have a full gallery of their images available through the VIP section of our website very soon.
If you want to see it, just ask them. :)
