There is something incredibly special about photographing a couple’s wedding day and then being invited back to document the beautiful life they are building together.

I had the honor of photographing these Caitlin and Mike as bride and groom, then again as their family began to grow with their first child. This time, they came back with two little ones, and it was so sweet to see their story unfolding in such a joyful, real-life way.

We met at a quiet nature preserve for a session that felt relaxed, playful, and full of those little in-between moments I love most. There were snuggles, exploring, tiny adventures, and some of the sweetest candid moments in the stream. Nothing overly posed. Nothing forced. Just a family being together in a place that gave their kids room to play and be themselves.

Watching past wedding couples become parents, and then getting to preserve these new chapters for them, is truly one of the greatest gifts of this work.
