It goes without saying that is has been a rainy wedding season so far! As the days drew closer for Michaela and Dave's wedding I was keeping a watchful eye on the weather hoping for a non-rainy day. But to no avail; when the day arrived, it was cold, windy and rainy. It didn't hinder us one bit though!
Michaela and Dave celebrated their wedding day at The Crooked Lake House - a beautiful location for their wedding, so photos were not an issue. And of course, with Michaela and Dave (and their friends and families), it was easily a perfect day!
Michaela had a lot of really great details, and if you know me at all, you know I love shooting details. Here are a few of our favorites. :)
Michaela's veil was originally worn by her mother when she got married. So beautiful!
The first look between Michaela and her father was very special. Even I had a hard time not crying!
Then we headed downstairs where Dave was waiting to see Michaela for the first time. Despite the rain and wind, I was glad we got some photos outside!
Time to make it official! As usual, the Great Room was set up to look amazing.
A couple more shots before getting to the party! Thanks guys, for being good sports about the rain! I think we made it work for us pretty well. :)
Reception area looking amazing! High Definition was on hand to keep the party rolling all night long.
The guy in the photo to the left was a ham for the camera. We've got lots of fun photos of him! :)
I'm pretty sure these two just recently also said "I do". So congrats to you two as well!
I'll end with this photo - one of my favorites from the day! Congrats again Micheala and Dave! Thank you so much for trusting us to capture your special day!
