There are weddings that stay with you for the beauty of the day, and then there are weddings that stay with you because of the people.

Photographing Chris and Jenn's wedding was especially meaningful because Jenn is not only a friend, but also a fellow wedding photographer (Jenn Moak Photography). She knows what it means to hold someone’s memories with care. She knows how much trust goes into inviting someone into the most intimate, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moments of a wedding day. So being asked to tell her story felt like the sweetest kind of honor.

The day itself was filled with so much heart. The kind of emotion you do not have to manufacture. The kind of joy that shows up in quiet glances, tight hugs, happy tears, and all the little moments happening in between. It was a reminder of why I love this work so deeply: not just for the beautiful portraits or the carefully chosen details, but for the story unfolding underneath it all.

It was such a gift to photograph this day for someone who understands the art, the responsibility, and the heart behind wedding photography.

Here are a few favorites from their beautiful celebration.
