I'm so excited to share this blog with you!

We've been getting to know Amanda and Steve since last year, when we did their engagement session in the fall. These two are such an awesome couple! I've been chatting back and forth with Amanda as she planned, and I've been so excited to hear about all the details of their day. I'm also super excited because Amanda told me they recenty relocated near Lake Placid, which means they are a little closer to us. Hopefully we'll be doing some hiking in the ADKs together sometime soon!

When the wedding day arrived, we thought we were going to be dealing with another rainy day. When we showed up at The Mansion Inn of Saratoga, it was dark with the threat of rain. If you know me, you know that is my kind of day almost every day ... except on a wedding day! :) While we were shooting details, it was pouring. But, just in time for the ceremony, the rain stopped. Mother Nature gave us enough time to get some beautiful photos outside post-ceremony, and by the time we were under the tent for the reception, the rain started again. Hats off to Mother Nature!! I owe ya one!

Amanda and Steve put a lot of effort into their planning - everything was so amazing. Once you see all our detail shots below, you'll see what I mean. When we first arrived at the Mansion Inn, the aromas of the food that chef Rick was cooking were making my stomach growl beyond belief. The Mansion Inn always puts out the most amazing food - if I could eat there every night, I would!

Here's a few of the pro's that helped to make this day special:
Bridal Attire: Maggie Sottero
Floral: The Posie Peddler
Hair and Makeup: Tina King
Ceremony & Reception: The Mansion Inn of Saratoga
Music: Sound Obsession

Here is one of my favorites from our E-Session with Amanda and Steve:

So now let's get to their wedding photos. We've got a lot to share, so sit back and get comfortable! :)
The Mansion Inn is such a beautiful venue - we love it there!

Ahhh, the rain.

Someone's getting excited. :)

So beautiful!

Ceremony this way!

Great moment with dad...

The Mansion Inn just remodled their barn - how beautiful is it on the inside? Gorgeous setting.

They are so happy! I love this.

Such a sweet moment right before the first kiss!

Congrats you two!

Photo time! The guys were a hoot!

I am in love with this shot! Beautiful!

These guys are so much fun to shoot, and I wish we could have stayed out there longer, but, a pig was roasting, and a reception full of friends and family were waiting!

The Matron of Honor and Best Man - two really awesome people. Speeches were great!
You can't tell at all, but Laura is expecting - congrats to you!

Two very special parent dances...

And then a crazy night of partying! We got lots of great candids throughout the night!

Fighting over the bride! Love it!

This. Cake. Is. Ah-mazing!

Amanda, I would have done the same thing here! :)

On top of the dessert table there was a make your own S'more's bar. Yummmm!!

Towards the end of the night we went back out with Amanda and Steve for a few more shots. I'm going to end with these next few.
Congrats again Amanda and Steve! It was an amazing day and we loved sharing in it with you!

Amanda and Steve will have a full online gallery through the VIP section of our website. It will be ready soon.
Oh, and hey, while you're here, please feel free to leave a comment and congratulate this amazing couple!
